Claire later joined the senior society and was part of the dance ensemble for many of their productions including “West Side Story”, “Into the Woods”, “Chicago”, Oklahoma” and “Chess”. She also performed in a number of the society’s variety concerts. Last year, she was elected to the committee where she holds the position of Assistant Corporate and Patron Secretary.
Claire has completed grades 1-7 in piano with the Royal Irish Academy of Music and grades 1-7 in her Irish Dancing exams. Dancing has given her the opportunity to perform at Irish Festivals in Denmark and in Disneyland Paris on a number of occasions. She also performed on national television in “An Jig Gig”. Claire has a lot of experience of performing on stage and is excited to pass on her knowledge to the younger generation at Bellvue Academy.
