Nurturing performance skills in the disciplines of Singing, Acting, Dance, Musical Theatre, Piano & Guitar, Bellvue Academy of Performing Arts is founded by Clonmel natives; Keith Greene and Lisa O’ Brien. Set in a positive and encouraging environment, Bellvue Academy offers a training ground to students pursuing ambitions in performance. With many years of teaching experience in the performing arts, Keith and Lisa bring a fresh and innovative teaching approach which is rooted in a passion for Musical Theatre. Bellvue Academy prides itself on the knowledge that students will be offered a high standard of tuition in each discipline, provided by their qualified teachers, all of whom have pursued their craft to university level.
Our Musical Theatre classes combine the three strands of singing, acting and dancing and aim to develop competency in students across all three disciplines. Students will perform in the end of year full scale musical. This class is our most popular, and early booking is advised.
Enjoy dance for fun but also while learning new skills in various genres! There is no pressure for competitions, just enjoy Dance for DANCE! The Dance class incorporates games and skill sessions to enhance your technique however beginner or advanced you may be.
Fun filled classes which offer training in developing the actor in areas of speech, diction, accents, movement, physicality,improvisation and sight reading, to name but a few. Students of the drama only class will also be offered the opportunity to perform in their own end of year in house production, and the option each year to complete a speech and drama exam at graded levels.
These one to one lessons will cater for students of any standard from beginner to advanced level. Students will be offered the option to undertake a graded exam in the Summer. Lessons, simply for pleasure are also welcomed.
Our vocal lessons are offered to students from age 5 to 105 and all levels of ability are catered for. Students will work on a range of techniques from pitch, range, posture, breathing, diction support and placement. Students also have the option of completing an graded musical theatre exam with London College of Music. Classes are taught on a one to one basis.
